John has been Timpanist with the orchestra since July of 1990.  He received his Bachelor of Music from the University of Delaware and his Master of Music from West Chester University. In addition to performing for BAS, he has been timpanist for: Delaware Symphony, Opera Delaware, Delaware Academy of Dance, Northern Delaware Oratorio Society, and numerous other performing groups.  John’s music has covered everything from country to ballet.  Most recently he has started performing with the renaissance group Wolgemut.

 In 2012 John retired from thirty five years of teaching instrumental music in the public schools of Delaware and Maryland.  Retirement did not mean he would stop working with children.  He is now their Santa!  Most notable he is Santa for the Wilmington Western Rail Road and has been Santa for the Philadelphia Flyers.

Having worked as a professional musician, a music-educator, and the Executive Director of a number of non-profit arts organizations, Beth has over 10 years of experience in catering to the unique needs of artists. Beth believes that the talent, education, and skill-sets of her clients have inherent worth. As a passionate artist advocate, she aims to help her artists improve the quality of their own lives by encouraging them to honor the value of their own work, and by creating materials which allow them to champion their art with confidence. Equally interested in building community, Beth aims to create a roster of artists who are excited to support and collaborate together.
