Brian McPeak is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of corporate and non-profit arts organization management experience and joined the Bay Atlantic Symphony as Executive Director in September, 2019. Throughout his professional and personal endeavors, Brian has strived to support rich and varied arts opportunities that are accessible to a wide array of audiences. In addition, he has long worked to ensure strong, viable arts organizations that can bring energy, passion, vibrancy and prosperity to communities.
In his professional capacities, Brian has served as Vice-President of Public Affairs for Rohm and Haas Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Vice-President, External Affairs, for Owens Corning, in Toledo, Ohio. In both capacities, he oversaw all facets of external affairs, community relations, public engagement, civic and corporate responsibility and philanthropy.
He served on the Board of Trustees of The Bristol Riverside Theatre, a regional professional equity performing arts organization in Bucks County, Pennsylvania for nearly two decades. For much of that time he chaired that organization’s Board of Trustees. He was also elected a Commissioner in the Borough of Audubon, Camden County in 1997 and served until 2001.
Brian was also a member of the Board of The Delaware Valley Grantmakers (now the Philanthropy Network of Greater Philadelphia), including chairing the Board of Directors of that organization from 1998-2003. In that capacity, he was involved in many strategic elements of the foundation and corporate giving activities in the Greater Philadelphia area.
Brian has a B.A. from Rutgers University, and an M.S. from the University of Pennsylvania. Born and raised in Berlin, NJ, Brian and his wife, Mary Agnes, raised their four children while living in Audubon, NJ. After returning in 2017 from living and working in Toledo, Ohio he started his own consulting practice. He and his wife now reside in Ocean, City NJ.
